Avid Cycles is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Lead to run our Kansas warehouse. The Warehouse Lead supervises and trains our Warehouse Material Handlers. They also own order processing, inventory control and accurate, on-time shipping, receiving and Amazon FBA operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train and schedule Warehouse Material Handlers, and make sure they have work assigned the moment they arrive
• Hold the team accountable to our warehouse SOPs, and catch and correct mistakes on the spot
• Process all orders and print shipping labels for every Kansas warehouse shipment
• Oversee picking, packing and shipping: one product at a time, labels matched to packing slips, zero stray shipping labels
• Lead receiving: check shipments against invoices and POs, and report shortages, overages and carrier damage
• Count every item as it comes in and goes out to keep inventory accurate
• Own inventory control: enter received stock and bin locations in Solid Commerce, keep one storage location per product, and run cycle counts
• Keep tabs on pricing and slow-moving items, and report them to management
• Keep the warehouse organized with accurate bin locations
• Prep, label and ship Amazon FBA shipments to Amazon's requirements
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and pallet stackers; load and unload trucks
• Run quality control checks before shipments leave the building
• Keep the warehouse safe, clean and organized, including waste disposal and facility upkeep
• Track warehouse supplies and report on progress and issues to management

Requirements:

• 2+ years of warehouse experience, including 1+ year as a lead or supervisor
• Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to train, manage and hold a team accountable
• Able to learn quickly and adapt to new business practices
• Current forklift certification
• Shipping and receiving experience; Amazon FBA prep experience strongly preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, including telling similar-looking products apart
• Punctual: arrives on time, prepared, and with the day's work planned for the team
• Follows every process through from start to finish
• Comfortable with computers, order and inventory software, Google Sheets and Google Forms
• Physical strength to regularly lift 50 lb boxes and maneuver 1500 lb pallets
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Clear communication and active listening skills
• Commitment to workplace safety
