\n

\n

Kickstart your IT career in a role where every shift matters and every alert teaches you something new. We’re looking for an entry-level NOC Monitor who’s hungry to learn, ready to grow, and excited to build the foundation for a future Systems Engineer role.

\n

You’ll be part of a 24/7 operations environment that keeps critical infrastructure running, while receiving hands-on training designed to accelerate your technical development far beyond a typical entry-level role.

\n

\n

If you’re curious, reliable, and eager to build a long-term career in systems engineering, this is your launchpad.

\n

\n

Core Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Adaptable Shift Coverage: You’ll work an assigned shift, but you must be fully open to covering other shifts or moving to a new schedule when needed. Flexibility is key in a real operations environment.
  • \n
  • Immersive Training: Expect a lot of training — and that’s a good thing. You’ll learn how to do the job the right way, with guidance from experienced engineers who want you to succeed.
  • \n
  • Reliable Transportation: You need a dependable car and a reasonable commute. This role requires on-site presence.
  • \n
  • Curiosity That Drives You: You should naturally want to understand how systems work, why alerts happen, and how infrastructure fits together. Curiosity is your superpower here.
  • \n
  • Career Commitment: We’re looking for people who want to grow their skills. If you want a long-term path into systems engineering, you’ll thrive here.
  • \n
  • Educational Foundation: Some college, community college, trade school, or a technical program is preferred but not required.
  • \n
  • Real Work Experience: You must have some prior work experience.
  • \n
  • Ticketing System Skills: You should know how to operate within a ticketing system — creating tickets, updating them, documenting actions, and following workflow steps.
  • \n
  • Networking Knowledge: Any Cisco experience is a major plus and will help you advance faster.
  • \n
\n

\n

NOC Duties

\n
    \n
  • Monitor network, server, and application dashboards for alerts and anomalies.
  • \n
  • Perform first-level triage using runbooks and escalate issues when needed.
  • \n
  • Document incidents clearly and accurately in the ticketing system.
  • \n
  • Support maintenance windows and scheduled downtime activities.
  • \n
  • Maintain situational awareness of system health, uptime, and SLAs.
  • \n
\n

\n

Systems Engineer Training Path

    \n
  • 0–2 years of IT experience, such as help desk, NOC, or similar experience.
